God is Sovereign

Yes, I have been missing in action for a long time. I guess I should try to catch you up as best as I can.
Life as I know it has changed for me. Some days I feel like my world has been turned upside down.
My father in law was diagnosed with cancer in April. It was metastasized to two other places in his body. We all decided to remove the kidney which was the main source. After that we went a natural path. We began juicing and eating organic as much as possible. We introduced supplements and seeds and oils that most people have never heard of. We followed others who had naturally beat their cancer and we saw amazing results. My father in law became stronger and healthier that he ever had. Everyone was amazed at him!
Fast forward several months, and several thousand dollars spent on food and supplements. My father in law, Donnie, was doing great and we slowly ran out of money and resources. We spent everything we had to prolong our loved one’s life.
A few more months passed and Donnie was working in the yard one day when I came home from work. He was crying. There was a pain in his back that he hadn’t experienced before. It got worse and worse. Doctors put him on pain meds and sent him in his way.
By mid November his feet and hands started tingling. We thought it was side effects of too much pain meds messing with his nerves. It got worse and his walk became a wobble. So we went in for a check up. The tumor that had spread to his back had cause a spinal cord compression. It was pressing on his nerves and would cause paralysis if untreated. We made the decision to do 10 rounds of emergency radiation to that one spot. The doctors were hopeful and very encouraging. They said since he walked in as opposed to being rolled in with a wheelchair, that his chances of recovering were high. We met some great people and my father in law loved getting out everyday and socializing.
Soon the pain from the radiation site became unbearable. They constantly changed and gave him higher doses of pain meds. On Thanksgiving day I cooked the biggest meal that my family had ever seen. Keep in mind my husband is an only child and Donnie raised him by himself from the time he was 3. They didn’t have a mother or big family that cooked like this. Donnie told me over and over this was the best day of his life. The happiness on his face gave me joy. By the next day, he had fallen and could hardly get himself up. We had to borrow a walker. It broke his heart but he knew it would help him stay safe. His legs were more wobbly than ever. He didn’t give up. He used that walker and took his time. It exhausted him so much.
Soon he stopped trying to walk around as much. He stayed in his recliner and watched movies or listened to music. One day we noticed his feet started to swell. We did the natural route first but it only got worse. We went to his regular doctor to get some relief and figure out what was causing it. Was his heart failing? What about his one kidney left? Or was the pain meds killing his liver? The doctor changed up his meds and blatantly said, “has anyone given you a prognosis? This med you are on for pain is only given to those who have a limited time to live.” He then told us to look into hospice. Wow, we were so angry and it was like you stabbed that man in the heart and twisted it. He left crying but we encouraged him and read scripture together and prayed. God has been our only strength during this time.
Two weeks later his feet were almost bursting open with fluid and getting infected. We went to a different doc in hopes to some answers. She did bloodwork and found nothing. So we called his oncologist and we went in for multiple tests. The tests were all clear. No explanation. They put him on steroids and antibiotics in the meantime.
Now, it was Christmas time and I wanted to replicate the Thanksgiving dinner that was so special to him. I worked all day cooking and preparing to make this memorable for my family. We don’t normally celebrate Christmas but this year was different. It might be our last one together. We put up a tree and lights and got one gift a piece for each other. It was time to eat the Christmas dinner so Donnie got his walker and began walking next door to our house. He was in so much pain. His legs just wouldn’t work. That’s when his legs collapsed on his front porch and we almost had to call 911 to help get him up. This man was angry. He was hurting. He couldn’t get up no matter how hard he tried and no matter how much we tried to help him. So we made the best of the situation and sat on the porch with him, started a bonfire, and enjoyed each other’s presence. When it was over, we had to slide him in his house with a blanket under him. My husband and I finally got him to the couch. Something died inside my husband that day. (My husband used to be an alcoholic) We are all tempted by the flesh and sometimes we fail and give in. But God will always bring His children back to Him. My husband began grieving like I have never seen. He began his old habits and fell into a state of depression. I can’t say that I didn’t fall into depression with him but I had to be strong for everyone.
We borrowed a wheelchair after Donnie spent 3 days unable to get off the couch. He cried and cried. He said it was like getting out of prison. The wheelchair gave him freedom to move around. We all cried with him. My husband stayed to himself and I moved furniture around Donnie’s house so he could move around independently. It was a blessing to us all. Keep in mind, his feet and legs are swollen like balloons.
The new local doctor encouraged us to try Home Health services since things were not looking good. She told us that hospice was also available and that the company that she uses has gotten many people off of hospice. So we agreed and home health came out twice. All they did is ask questions and do paperwork. A Physical Therapist came out and stretched his feet but he wasn’t able to stand for him. A week later he fell trying to get from his wheelchair to the bathroom. His feet and legs do not work so we couldn’t stand him up and he refused to let us call for help. So my husband and I sat in the bathroom floor talking and comforting his broken spirit.
During this time all we want to do is ask God why. What is your purpose? What do you want us to do? We are crushed and hopeless about the situation. We know that being a Christian does not mean “your best life now”. We know that we will still face trials, tribulations, and even death. But what we do know is that God will never leave or forsake us and that He is a good good father. You see, because of this ordeal, my father in law has come to salvation in Jesus Christ. Through the hurt and pain, he has become a new creature. His speech is proof of a changed creature. And that is ALL that matters! Praise God, that he draws lost sinners to himself. It isn’t always pretty and a bed of roses. Sometimes it’s through hurting and pain that he draws his children to himself.
We are no longer in denial of what is happening. We know that Donnie won’t be with us much longer. We can eat the healthiest foods and exercise the most, and in the end, we will all die. We can’t stop it from happening. But what a blessed assurance to know that God has prepared a place for us after this death. It will be a place of no more hurting, no sorrow, no pain. We will be with our savior forever.
Hopsice is coming out on Monday to help us bathe him and try to get him a bed to make things easier on him. My husband is also coming out of his depressed state and seems to be getting better. Please be in prayer for us. We know God is in control but it is still extremely hard. image

What is God’s Will For Us?

What is God’s will for us and what laws and commandments are we to keep as Christians?
The will of God:
John 6:40 – “For this is the will of My Father, that everyone who beholds the Son and believes in Him will have eternal life, and I Myself will raise him up on the last day.”
1 Thessalonians 4:3 – For this is the will of God, your sanctification; that is, that you abstain from sexual immorality;
1 Thessalonians 5:18 – in everything give thanks; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.
The commandments of Christ Jesus for us:
Let’s look first to our Lord’s instruction in Matthew:
Matthew 7:12 – “In everything, therefore, treat people the same way you want them to treat you, for THIS is the Law and the Prophets.
^^^ note what He says there… now, let’s look at His instruction further in Matthew:
Matthew 22:35-40 – One of them, a lawyer, asked Him a question, testing Him, “Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?” And He said to him, “‘You shall LOVE the LORD your GOD with ALL your heart, and with ALL your soul, and with ALL your mind.’ This is the GREAT and foremost commandment. The second is like it, ‘You shall LOVE your neighbor as yourself.’ On THESE TWO commandments depend the WHOLE Law and the Prophets.”
^ we see there basically the same thing we see earlier in Matthew… but this time, our Lord is not only instructing the same thing, but is also quoting God’s own instruction to the Israelites through Moses in Deuteronomy!
Deuteronomy 6:4-6 – “Hear, O Israel! The Lord is our God, the Lord is one! You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. These words, which I am commanding you today, shall be on your heart.
Jeremiah 31:31-34 – “Behold, days are coming,” declares the Lord, “when I will make a NEW COVENANT with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah, not like the covenant which I made with their fathers in the day I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt, My covenant which they broke, although I was a husband to them,” declares the Lord. “But THIS is the covenant which I will make with the house of Israel AFTER THOSE days,” declares the Lord, “I WILL put MY LAW within them and on their HEART I will write it; and I WILL be their God, and they SHALL be MY people. They will not teach again, each man his neighbor and each man his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord,’ for they will all know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them,” declares the Lord, “for I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin I will remember no more.”
Paul tells us in Romans:
Romans 2:25-29 – For indeed circumcision is of value if you practice the Law; but if you are a transgressor of the Law, your circumcision has become uncircumcision. So if the uncircumcised man keeps the requirements of the Law, will not his uncircumcision be regarded as circumcision? And he who is physically uncircumcised, if he keeps the Law, will he not judge you who though having the letter of the Law and circumcision are a transgressor of the Law? For he is not a Jew who is one outwardly, nor is circumcision that which is outward in the flesh. But he IS a Jew who is one INWARDLY; and circumcision is that which is of the HEART, BY THE SPIRIT, NOT BY THE LETTER; and his praise is not from men, but from God.
^^^ In the NEW covenant, a “JEW” is one who is circumcised of the HEART (regeneration/born again) and made ONE in Christ Jesus through FAITH ALONE! NOT one who is a Jew by lineage or blood or the keeping and practicing of the LETTER of the Law via the CEREMONIAL statutes of the Mosaic/Levitical laws!
“Well how do you know that about who are Israel now and about faith alone in the new covenant and about not keeping ceremonial statutes?” How? Because Paul tells us a few things later in other writings, pay attention:
Galatians 3 – You foolish Galatians, who has bewitched you, before whose eyes Jesus Christ was publicly portrayed as crucified? This is the only thing I want to find out from you: did you receive the Spirit by the works of the Law, or by hearing with faith? Are you so foolish? Having begun by the Spirit, are you now being perfected by the flesh? Did you suffer so many things in vain—if indeed it was in vain? So then, does He who provides you with the Spirit and works miracles among you, do it by the works of the Law, or by hearing with faith? Even so Abraham believed God, and it was reckoned to him as righteousness. Therefore, be sure that it is those who are of FAITH who ARE sons of Abraham. The SCRIPTURE, FORESEEING that God would justify the GENTILES by FAITH, preached the gospel beforehand to Abraham, saying, “ALL the NATIONS (peoples of all races of the world in Christ Jesus) will be blessed in you.” So then those who are of FAITH are blessed with Abraham, the believer. For as many as are of the works of the Law are under a curse; for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who does not abide by all things written in the book of the law, to perform them.” Now that no one is justified by the Law before God is evident; for, “The RIGHTEOUS man shall live by FAITH.” However, the Law is NOT of faith; on the contrary, “He who practices them shall live by them.” Christ redeemed us from the curse of the Law, having become a curse for us—for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”— in order that in Christ Jesus the blessing of Abraham might come to the GENTILES, so that WE would receive the promise of the Spirit through FAITH. Brethren, I speak in terms of human relations: even though it is only a man’s covenant, yet when it has been ratified, no one sets it aside or adds conditions to it. Now the promises were spoken to Abraham and to his seed. He does not say, “And to seeds,” as referring to many, but rather to one, “And to your seed,” that is, CHRIST. What I am saying is this: the Law, which came four hundred and thirty years later, does not invalidate a covenant previously ratified by God, so as to nullify the promise. For if the inheritance is based on law, it is no longer based on a promise; but God has granted it to Abraham by means of a promise. Why the Law then? It was added because of transgressions, having been ordained through angels by the agency of a mediator, until the seed would come to whom the promise had been made. Now a mediator is not for one party only; whereas God is only one. Is the Law then contrary to the promises of God? May it never be! For if a law had been given which was able to impart life, then righteousness would indeed have been based on law. But the Scripture has shut up everyone under sin, so that THE PROMISE by FAITH IN JESUS CHRIST might be given to those who BELIEVE. But before faith came, we were kept in custody under the law, being shut up to the faith which was later to be revealed. Therefore the Law has become our tutor to LEAD US TO CHRIST, so that we may be JUSTIFIED by FAITH. But now that faith has come, we are NO LONGER under a tutor. For you are ALL sons of God through FAITH in Christ Jesus. For all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. There is NEITHER Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free man, there is neither male nor female; for you are ALL one in CHRIST JESUS. And if you belong to CHRIST, then YOU ARE Abraham’s descendants, HEIRS according to PROMISE.

“So what about the new covenant and what about those commandments Jesus mentioned?”
Paul instructs more:
Hebrews 8: Now the main point in what has been said is this: we have such a high priest, who has taken His seat at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens, a minister in the sanctuary and in the true tabernacle, which the LORD pitched, NOT man. For every high priest is appointed to offer both gifts and sacrifices; so it is necessary that this high priest also have something to offer. Now if He were on earth, He would not be a priest at all, since there are those who offer the gifts according to the Law; who serve a copy and SHADOW OF the heavenly things, just as Moses was warned by God when he was about to erect the tabernacle; for, “See,” He says, “that you make all things according to the pattern which was shown you on the mountain.” But now He has obtained a more excellent ministry, by as much as He is also the mediator of a better covenant, which has been enacted on better promises. For if that first covenant had been faultless, there would have been no occasion sought for a second. For finding fault with them, He says,
(Paul recites Jeremiah 31 here next! Pay attention!)
“Behold, days are coming, says the Lord, When I will effect a new covenant

With the house of Israel and with the house of Judah;

Not like the covenant which I made with their fathers

On the day when I took them by the hand

To lead them out of the land of Egypt;

For they did not continue in My covenant,

And I did not care for them, says the Lord.

“For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel

After those days, says the Lord:

I will put My laws into their minds,

And I will write them on their hearts.

And I will be their God,

And they shall be My people.

“And they shall not teach everyone his fellow citizen,

And everyone his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord,’

For all will know Me,

From the least to the greatest of them.

“For I will be merciful to their iniquities,

And I will remember their sins no more.” When He said, “A new covenant,” He has made the first obsolete. But whatever is becoming obsolete and growing old is ready to disappear.
^^^ DO YOU SEE THAT? Paul continues right into chapter 9:
Hebrews 9 – Now even the first covenant had regulations of divine worship and the earthly sanctuary. For there was a tabernacle prepared, the outer one, in which were the lampstand and the table and the sacred bread; this is called the holy place. Behind the second veil there was a tabernacle which is called the Holy of Holies, having a golden [e]altar of incense and the ark of the covenant covered on all sides with gold, in which was a golden jar holding the manna, and Aaron’s rod which budded, and the tables of the covenant; and above it were the cherubim of glory overshadowing the mercy seat; but of these things we cannot now speak in detail. Now when these things have been so prepared, the priests are continually entering the outer tabernacle performing the divine worship, but into the second, only the high priest enters once a year, not without taking blood, which he offers for himself and for the sins of the people committed in ignorance. The Holy Spirit is signifying this, that the way into the holy place has not yet been disclosed while the outer tabernacle is still standing, which is a symbol for the present time. Accordingly both gifts and sacrifices are offered which cannot make the worshiper perfect in conscience, since they relate only to food and drink and various washings, regulations for the body imposed until a time of reformation. But when Christ appeared as a high priest of the good things to come, He entered through the greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this creation; and not through the blood of goats and calves, but through His own blood, He entered the holy place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption. For if the blood of goats and bulls and the ashes of a heifer sprinkling those who have been defiled sanctify for the cleansing of the flesh, how much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without blemish to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? For this reason He is the mediator of a new covenant, so that, since a death has taken place for the redemption of the transgressions that were committed under the first covenant, those who have been called may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance. For where a covenant is, there must of necessity be the death of the one who made it. For a covenant is valid only when men are dead, for it is never in force while the one who made it lives. Therefore even the first covenant was not inaugurated without blood. For when every commandment had been spoken by Moses to all the people according to the Law, he took the blood of the calves and the goats, with water and scarlet wool and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book itself and all the people, saying, “This is the blood of the covenant which God commanded you.” And in the same way he sprinkled both the tabernacle and all the vessels of the ministry with the blood. And according to the Law, one may almost say, all things are cleansed with blood, and without shedding of blood there is no forgiveness. Therefore it was necessary for the copies of the things in the heavens to be cleansed with these, but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these. For Christ did not enter a holy place made with hands, a mere copy of the true one, but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us; nor was it that He would offer Himself often, as the high priest enters the holy place year by year with blood that is not his own. Otherwise, He would have needed to suffer often since the foundation of the world; but now once at the consummation of the ages He has been manifested to put away sin by the sacrifice of Himself. And inasmuch as it is appointed for men to die once and after this comes judgment, so Christ also, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time for salvation without reference to sin, to those who eagerly await Him.
Now, let’s touch on those two commandments given to us by Christ a couple more times as laid out by Paul!:
Romans 13:8 – Owe nothing to anyone except to love one another; for he who LOVES his neighbor has fulfilled the law.
Galatians 5:14 – For the WHOLE LAW IS FULFILLED in one word, in the statement, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”
To sum it up:
The Will of God is to believe on Jesus Christ as the divine only begotten Son of God, that He was born of a virgin by the power of The Holy Spirit and was crucified bearing the wrath of God taking the places of and being sacrificed for the sins of all who would ever receive Him by faith and was resurrected from the dead by the power of The Holy Spirit three days later and ascended to Heaven where He now sits at the right hand of God and for us to walk in holiness as HE is holy and give thanks to God in and for all things!
His commandments for all who receive Him are to LOVE God above ALL ELSE and to LOVE others as ourselves!
If you TRULY LOVE God above all else, you will NOT have any other gods before Him, you will NOT love or have idols, you will NOT love the things of or conform to this dying accursed temporal world and you WILL die to your fallen, wretched self placing HIM ALONE as most precious and valuable to you in all the universe above all else! If you TRULY LOVE God above all else you will NOT take His Name in vain! If you TRULY LOVE God then you WILL believe on Christ Jesus and WILL rest in HIM and HIS finished work who is our Sabbath! (Hebrews 4)
If you LOVE others as yourself you WILL honor your father and mother (if they are honorable and follow God’s Will, all applies to them just as us!), if you LOVE others as yourself you will not murder them! If you LOVE others as yourself (your spouse and other’s spouses) you will NOT commit adultery! If you LOVE others as yourself you will NOT steal from them! If you LOVE others as yourself you will NOT bear false witness against them! If you LOVE others as yourself you will NOT covet your neighbor’s spouse and your neighbor’s possessions!

Are Aliens in the Bible?

I haven’t written in a while due to work and taking care of my father in law. He is doing well since his first diagnosis. Some days the enemy gets into his head but God is his shield. We are overcomers in Christ Jesus!

The topic that I would like to discuss today is a controversial issue. Many people have questions such as ‘Do aliens exist?’ ‘If they exist, where are they in the Bible?’ ‘What are they and what do they want?’ Well I used to have the same questions many years ago. Praise God for His Word that answers all of our questions as long as we seek Him!

The Bible does not mention extraterrestrial or alien life. However, it does mention angels and demonic forces which are, in a sense, not of this world. This is not the kind of alien, extraterrestrial life that most people are talking about when the subject comes up. Nevertheless, the Bible makes no mention whatsoever of aliens from other planets who might be visiting us.

There is no denying that there are physical manifestations of UFO’s and that many people have claimed to have seen them and even been abducted by them. But the issue is not whether these things occur, but what they are.
Research of UFO abductees has led to some interesting discoveries. According to those abducted, the aliens are teaching theology. The curious thing is that the theology is New Age theology; namely, that we are all divine, all evolving to higher levels of consciousness, that reality is what you perceive it to be, etc. These are anti-Christian teachings. In some cases, comments about Jesus himself have been made that directly contradict biblical revelation. Agreat many people in the New Age not only accept Aliens and UFO’s, but teach that they are more highly evolved than we are and that we need to learn from them.

In addition, an inordinately high percentage of the abductees have had previous experience with the occult. The UFO phenomena is occultic in origin and demonically based. There is no life on other planets and what has manifested is nothing more than a great deception that is slowing enveloping mankind.

I have talked with others regarding this issue and have thought that maybe this will be part of the great deception. Society is already being conditioned to accept the idea of aliens because of movies and cartoons that promote the idea. I can just see it now in the news: Aliens have landed here on Earth! How would people respond to that? I know it would send a mass panick over the globe! Once you have chaos and panic, what do you need? You need a hero or savior! I believe that is where the antichrist comes into the scene to save the day! If it were possible, it would deceive the very elect (Christians). That’s a strong delusion!

Matthew 24:

23 Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.

24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

In conclusion, aliens are not real but demons and fallen angels are. Be not deceived when the time arises (the time will arise sooner than later) but cling to God and His holy Word. Jesus said in the end it will be like as it was in the days of Noah. Go read what was going on in the days of Noah. You will find it talk about the sons of God bore children with the daughters of man. And there were giants! It all makes sense.
Ephesians 6:

12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places

I don’t even know where to begin with this post. Before I begin, let me tell you who is in control of all things: God, my father. He has a purpose and reason for it all.

As you might have known from previous posts before, God has led my husband and I to the knowledge of alternative medicine, nutrition, and the truth about cancer. Little did I know, he was preparing me for what the future was to hold.

Two weeks ago I came home from work and my husband called and said I needed to take his dad to the after hours clinic because the pain in his side was too severe. I took him and they took x-rays and said their is no pneumonia or a fractured rib (both is what we expected since this same thing happened in October), but we see inflammation and he needs to go see his regular doctor. So, we scheduled for the next day. We arrived and the doctor checked him out and ordered a CT scan of the chest to try to find out why he was hurting. The CT scan had to be done the next morning on an empty stomach. We went home and waited for the results. Instead of normally getting results with a phone call, they wanted us to come in to discuss the results. Oh boy. My husband lost it. He just knew it wasn’t good. I had to calm him and pray with him that everything was fine!

Some background knowledge on my father-in-law: He raised his only son (my husband) by himself since he was 3 years old. His wife (my husband’s mother) walked out on him to find a better life without children. He was a cowboy who worked very hard to support him and his son until he was completely disabled and started drawing Social security. He smoked 2 packs of cigarettes since he was 13. He drank two pots of coffee a day and used 3 spoonfuls of sugar for each cup he drank. As much as Josh and I tried to make him stop his unhealthy habits, it was useless. Which leads us to now.

We walked into the doctor’s office with dread. Donnie asked the doctor, “so how long do I have to live?” He was joking as he always was. But the doctor didn’t laugh. He began reading the CT scan results from the radiologist. It read that he had a mass on his kidney, and it had mastitized to the rib bone and to a third spot on the opposite side. It suggested that this was renal cell carcinoma of the kidneys. The doctor said we need to send you to an oncologist ASAP to get a “formal” diagnosis.

We left the doctor’s office that day and the world stopped all around us. Life as we knew it had just taken a hammer and smashed us. Leaving us distraught and in despair. All I really remember about that day is sitting on the porch together in silence. Sometimes crying, sometimes praying, and sometimes just talking.

Day 2: After getting some sleep, and coming to realize that we know the truth about cancer, about its causes, and how to heal yourself naturally. We knew all of this!!! God was so gracious to reveal this to us to prepare us for this time!! We dried our tears and went after it full force.  Cigarettes? Garbage. Sugar? garbage. chemicals? Gone. We had to do this and we had to do it fast.

I went to the grocery store and stocked up on nothing but fruits and vegetables. I bought as much organic as  was available. We began ordering pure supplements. And working hard to get his body alkalized. You see, the PH of your body is either acidic or alkalized. Acidic environments are homes for diseases, sickness, and cancer. Cancer cannot thrive in an alkalized body. That is what we have been doing for the last ten days. Flooding his body with nutrients and baking soda, and juices, and herbs.

He couldn’t see an oncologist before seeing a urologist so it’s taken a long time to get an appointment. He finally got one last Thursday and the doctor didn’t do much other than look at the CT scan and do some bloodwork and tell him that he would call him by Monday. It’s Monday and we received no phone call. The waiting game is the hardest. We already know that we will not touch his body with chemo or radiation. That is a money maker for the pharmaceuticals and it kills people every day. We know we will probably have to have the kidney removed, but we still don’t know our options.

What is the saddest part of all? Insurance and medicare will pay for chemo and such but refuse to pay for a natural approach. It is our goal to get my father-in-law to the Hope4cancer Institute in Tiuana, Mexico, but it is soooo expensive. Our second plan would be the Hoxy Clinic also in Tiuana. We set up a Gofundme account to try to get up enough money to afford an alternative cancer center. It is our prayer to be able to go there so my father in law can get well, but in the meantime we are flooding his body with vitamins and nutrients. He is on a “real food” diet. We got a juicer and make juices twice a day and raw fruits and veggies the rest of the time.

Another thing we have is apricot seeds and B17 extract. They have the most amazing cancer curing testimonies. Baking soda water is also an approach we are taking to alkalized his body.

We pray we hear back from the urologist soon to know what the next step is. God has given us all we need for our body to heal. We just have to get rid the the things that harm it.

Has anyone else gone with an alternative cancer treatment? I would love to here your testimonies. And all other, your prayers will be greatly appreciated. If you feel like you can help our cause, please help. We want what’s best for him, not what the big  Pharma has to offer.

A renewed mind and spirit

It has been a while since I wrote my last post. I just wanted to share some things that God has put on my heart. He has a beautiful way of connecting with us and guiding our lives. He is the wonderful counselor.

I woke up yesterday morning and thought about all of the things I wanted to accomplish this week since I am off work for Spring Break. I want to dig deep into God’s word and read a book. I want to catch up on sleep. I want to do a spring cleaning in my house. I want to go do something on my husband’s days off. I want to exercise and spend more time outdoors. I was ecstatic for how I would spend my time this week. So I got up and made breakfast and checked Facebook, then I checked my email, then I checked my Instagram account. By the time I realized it, it was noon! I had sat on my couch and wasted the morning checking social media and emails! That is when I felt convicted.

I asked myself, “Is this how you want to spend your whole week off?  You always forget or don’t have time to read God’s word but you have plenty of time to check Facebook. Is this pleasing to God?” So the Holy Spirit was stepping on my toes! Next, a friend sent me a message and we talked for a few minutes. What she said next slapped me in the face. She told me that since she left Facebook she has a clearer mind. She is able to dedicate so much more time to her family and God’s word and she feels closer to God!

So as you can see the conviction I had at this point, I prayed and made a decision. I deleted my Facebook app, I turned off my emails, I basically turned off all of my distractions. I put my phone in my bedroom and it was 10:00 before I picked it up again and that was just to turn it on silent before bed.

I could not believe the amount of things I was able to do for the remainder of the day! My parents came over for a few hours, I played outside with my dogs, I cooked supper, I dove into God’s word that my soul was thirsting for, and I cleaned my whole house. I didn’t miss anything! I felt a clear mind! Then my husband came in from work and we went straight to bed. There was no checking of social media. I slept so soundly!

God hates distractions. When we no longer put all of our focus and time into the things of God, that is a sin and it has become idolatry. My soul was longing for a renewed spirit with deeper prayer and soaking up the scriptures.

So my goal this week is to continue in this path as God leads. I will be able to spend more time with God, my family, and just be still while I can.

Reflect on your life: what are your distractions? Do you spend more time in useless areas that in God’s word? Maybe it’s television. You shouldn’t be watching television at all if you are a Christian but that is for another post. What about your job or even your family? Nothing should be replacing time with God. I pray He convicts you as He did me.
Hebrews 12:2 fixing our attention on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of the faith, who, in view of the joy set before him, endured the cross, disregarding its shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Colossians 3:1-2 If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.
Proverbs 4:25 Look straight ahead, and fix your eyes on what lies before you.

Isaiah 45:22 Let all the world look to me for salvation! For I am God; there is no other.

Happy Saturday!

Happy Saturday!

I have been battling a sickness that I picked up from my students this weekend. Praise God for giving me knowledge and wisdom to not have to go to the doctor. I just double up on superfood, apple cider vinegar and honey, essential oils, and garlic. God gave us nature to use!

Anyways, when I got home one day this week, my hubby had a gift waiting for me!  A new Bible! 😍 He even had my name engraved.

I couldn’t wait to use it! I then started asking myself how I could get creative with my Bible study and dig deeper. I found this wonderful idea of color coding scripture. I am a very visual person and I love bright colors. What better way to incorporate that into my Bible study. Another reason I like color coding is because we all have those times where we are looking for specific topics and have trouble sifting through the scriptures to find what you are looking for. Now, I can visually see what I am looking for.

I am color coding as I go. I started with my pink to be any scriptures that talk about being a godly wife or woman. Next, I have been using green for scripture referring to eternal life, salvation.

I really like this idea and believe it will help me to find things easier and be able to dig deeper in the scriptures. I am also starting a Bible study journal to write down scripture and reflect my thoughts on them and pray about it.

What are some things that you use?

Galatians 2:14-21

Galatians 2:14-21

14 But when I saw that they were not straightforward about the truth of the gospel, I said to Peter before them all, “If you, being a Jew, live in the manner of Gentiles and not as the Jews, why do you[a] compel Gentiles to live as Jews?[b] 15 We who are Jews by nature, and not sinners of the Gentiles, 16 knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but by faith in Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law; for by the works of the law no flesh shall be justified.
17 “But if, while we seek to be justified by Christ, we ourselves also are found sinners, is Christ therefore a minister of sin? Certainly not! 18 For if I build again those things which I destroyed, I make myself a transgressor. 19 For I through the law died to the law that I might live to God. 20 I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me. 21 I do not set aside the grace of God; for if righteousness comes through the law, then Christ died in vain.”

Jesus is the author and the finisher of our faith

If your idea of being saved is measured by what YOU do instead of what JESUS did, you need to repent and get in the Word. Good works will come as naturally as eating and sleeping when we’re truly converted, but it is NOT our works that we measure our salvation by, it is HIS work we look to that sealed our salvation and sanctified us once and for all.
Also, if your view of the Christian life is based on the amount of carnal and material blessings you have in this world, then you don’t know what true Christianity is. We WILL have tribulation in this world. If the world is treating you good all the time, that should worry you. The world will hate what is NOT of it.
Hebrews 12:2 – Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
John 16:33 – These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
John 15:18-21 – If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you. If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you. Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also. But all these things will they do unto you for my name’s sake, because they know not him that sent me.

Clean Eating

“The people who have been in our classes have had fabulous weight loss results without “counting their food” (such as calories, carbs, fat grams, “points”, etc.) Instead, we encourage people to make their food count nutritionally. Once you get the nutrients your body needs from “whole foods”, the food cravings stop. In addition, nutrients support a healthy metabolism and greatly assist your body’s natural fat-burning process.

Although weight loss is a tremendous “side benefit” of clean eating, weight loss isn’t our initial focus. Our initial focus was on reducing inflammation and helping people with inflammatory conditions improve their quality of life. The testimonials we have received from people with MS, asthma, arthritis, psoriasis, etc. are also amazing. We’ve had people with asthma give up their inhalers, people with fibromyalgia experience significant reduction in pain, arthritis patients have reported 80% improvement in their symptoms, and on and on. Most important, unlike with many of the medications used to treat the symptoms of inflammatory conditions, clean eating has no negative side effects. Just side benefits. And, if you already take medication for an inflammatory condition starting a healthy diet plan based on clean eating is not an either / or decision—you can do both. You have nothing to lose by giving a healthy lifestyle a try. We can’t imagine any physician arguing with that! A healthy diet plan is good for every body…and the foundation of healthy eating starts with eating clean.”

Clean Eating Part 1

Immediately After the Tribulation

Immediately AFTER the tribulation of those days shall the sign of the Son of Man appear. That’s scripture everything else taught contrary to the Word of God is a lie and false. Don’t be deceived. Christians WILL go through the tribulation. Mainstream Christianity has lied to you! You better open your Bible so you can be mentally, physically, and spiritually prepared!
